Questions

Good to know.

What is reconstitution solution?
A sterile mixing solution used to reconstitute lyophilized (freeze-dried) materials in research and laboratory settings — commonly known as bacteriostatic water. It contains a small amount of benzyl alcohol so a vial can be accessed multiple times. It is not the same as sterile water or saline — see bacteriostatic water vs sterile water and bacteriostatic water vs saline.
How should I store it?
Room temperature, away from direct light. Each batch's shelf life is printed on the vial. Our bacteriostatic water shelf life and storage guide covers opened vials and temperature in detail.
